The restaurant Coconuts at The Reefs Resort and Club, Southampton. Set between steep cliffs on a private pink sand beach, Coconuts is one of the few restaurants in Bermuda to offer beach-side dining. This is an amazing location for romantic dining in Bermuda, where diners can enjoy a sunset dinner on the water’s edge, caressed by gentle breezes under the soft light of a tiki torch. There is a special sunset package available which provides a six-course dinner and a glass of champagne. This is a highly popular option, so one should definitely book ahead of visiting. Indoor seating is also available and provides vivid beach views from the comfort of the cedar-paneled dining room.
Coconuts offer delectable Caribbean-inspired cuisine, and the use of freshly caught seafood is of course extremely popular. There is also a wide range of meat and vegetarian dishes available, and the menu changes regularly.
From the starters menu, diners can choose from an array of fine dishes, such as Bermuda Fish Chowder with sherry pepper, Gosling’s Black Sea Rum, and grissini stick, Crispy Chicken Bites with Caribbean dust, red onion, lime, and thyme aioli, or Salt and Pepper Clams with lemon, and chili lime mayonnaise.
There are many main courses to choose from, including a 12oz Spice-Rubbed Striploin with blue cheese potato soufflé, glazed carrots and demi-glace, Grilled Octopus with roasted potato, fennel confit, tomato chutney, and olive oil, and Wild Mushroom Risotto with sautéed spinach and a parmesan crisp.
Popular items on the dessert menu are the Lemon Curd Tart with forest berry compote and Chantilly cream or Nuni’s Ice-Cream Sandwich with double chocolate chip cookies, vanilla ice-cream, chocolate, and caramel sauce.
There is also a limited a la carte menu, and there is a snack menu featuring sandwiches, salads, and a selection of ice-creams and desserts.

Smart Casual. Inappropriate attire includes blue jeans, t-shirts, baseball caps, sneakers and flip flops.
