Featured in the June 2013 Condé Nast Traveler magazine in an article entitled “Islands to Dine For – The 35 Best Islands For Food”, Ocean Grill offers a casually refined atmosphere and enticing food in a dramatic setting on top of a cliff. The giant floor-to-ceiling windows afford the diner sweeping views over the waterfront.

The restaurant is open every morning for a self-served breakfast, with a buffet breakfast available during busier periods. Dinner is served every evening from 6pm

The innovative menu makes good use of locally-caught seafood and the freshest local produce to entice diners with a selection of tantalizing dishes, and the service is friendly and efficient.

Appetizers on offer include Lobster Tempura Roll – lettuce-wrapped spicy lobster, chorizo and pumpkin seeds fried in tempura batter and served atop a mango fennel slaw with citrus creole tartar sauce, Beef Carpaccio with Bermuda beets, baby arugula, mandarin orange segments, goats cheese and sliced radish, served with toasted brioche points and aged Balsamic vinegar. There is also a wide selection of soups and salads available.

There are many sophisticated main course dishes on offer, with highlights such as the Pan-Fried Rockfish with Alaskan crab and scallion crust, served atop jasmine rice, with sautéed spinach and ginger and papaya butter sauce, or Parmesan crusted Mahi-Mahi fillet served over a cherry tomato and lobster risotto with a parsley-infused cream sauce. There is also Rosemary and Mustard Crusted Rack of Lamb with roasted Provencal vegetables and caramelized shallot tartan, finished with black cherry and port wine jus. There is also a selection of freshly made pizzas available.

The restaurant only seats 60 people, so reservations are required to avoid disappointment.

Dress Code:
Resort casual. T-shirts with writing/designs on them, sleeveless t-shirts and hats are not permitted, with collared shirts recommended for Gentlemen.
