(The flag on the wood above isn’t for sale, and is just a digital image put together.)

Bermuda Rum

Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, Gold Rum, and Old Rum are all available for purchase on the island or at the Duty Free store on your way out. A unique gift can be to take the Old Rum, which is Gosling’s aged rum and comes in a small wooden crate and write a personal message on it.

Bermuda Inspired Jewelry

Davidrose Jewelry

La Garza Seafan EarringsLa Garza – all things inspired by Bermuda. The artist behind the brand, Tara Cassidy, takes sustainably sourced local materials, such as our purple seafans, pink sand, dark brown cedars and sea urchins to create hand-crafted jewelry and housewares from them. Education, awareness and sustainability is at the core of her shop experience, with 5% of many pieces being donated to various organizations or individuals that are cleaning up beaches, cultivating endemics or protecting Bermuda’s ecosystem. Visit her shop on Penno’s Drive in St. George’s or her online store. Visit her website.

Alexandra Mosher takes the island’s pink sand and creates beautiful jewelry with it that complements Bermuda’s natural beauty. Men can find cuff links and women can find rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pins, and hairpieces. Visit her website.

Rare Coins

For those with an unlimited budget, you can spend $658,000 to purchase four Bermuda Hogge pennies that were created between 1615 and 1616. Well, not really. They are back off the market since the four coins recently sold at auction in early 2014.

Hello, I am wanting to purchase one pound
Of bemuda pink sand. Do you sell it in this quanity?

    • John says:

Debbie with Bermuda Gift Ideas (email: debbie@bermudagiftideas.com) offers miniature bottles of pink sand for sale and so she is able to help you but it would only be possible to purchase the sand in the miniature bottles as seen on their website. It is illegal to remove sand from our beaches without a license and the only people with a license to do this are the suppliers of these bottles. This is the only way they package the sand and sell it. Each bottle contains approximately 3oz of sand. The cost per bottle would be $4.20 each.

I’m looking to purchase a couple small bottles of pink bermuda sand for my son and I. Where can I purchase some?

  3. Andria says:

I saw a bracelet made by Alex and Ani that was Bermuda themed. I did not purchase it while in Bermuda, but would like to now. Do you know if there is somewhere online that I can purchase this bracelet?

    • John says:

Sorry Andria, I do not know about that bracelet and it isn’t on their website. Here is an alternative jeweler that you can purchase from: https://www.alexandramosher.com/

All jewelry is Bermuda made and they make some beautiful pieces. Check them out.

  4. Michael Cooper says:

I’ve got a bermudian friend who’s really missing home, I was wondering how much for a bottle of pink sand and if you could ship it to New Zealand.

    Cheers

    • John says:

Hi Michael, you are a thoughtful friend. Debbie with Bermuda Gift Ideas (email: debbie@bermudagiftideas.com) offers miniature bottles of pink sand for sale. Reach out to her by email and she should be able to help you out. She is licensed to sell the pink sand and can ship overseas. Good luck! – John.

Is it possible to buy Bermuda made Royall Bay Rhum or Spice?
The US version is not as good.

    • John says:

Hello. I am not too sure what you’re looking for, but I assume this would be it. They are based in the US though: https://www.royalllymebermuda.com/

I do not know of any person on island that sells this product. The website linked above is a third party separate from Thinking of Bermuda and I am not sure of them, and so please check their reviews before purchasing if you do go through them.

Is this what you were looking for?

      John

      • Dan says:

I think the US version is exactly what “r” was NOT looking for. :)

Royall Lyme is well-remembered by those of us who regularly spent time in Bermuda in the 1970s. (I was just a kid then but my father used it as aftershave.) It had a wonderfully strong scent, unlike the watered-down version that is sold in USA. (The way UK Cadburys chocolate is very different USA Cadburys.). Do you know if there is a version of Royall aftershave that is still made in Bermuda, and a different version made for the USA market? If it is still possible to buy the “real stuff” a lot of us would be willing to pay a big premium and shipping costs to get the real thing!

        • John says:

Hey Dan, thanks for clarifying. I do know what you mean about the differences in the US and Bermuda (UK) versions of products. I am not sure where to buy it, but you may be able to contact this company, and they can source it and sell it: https://handmadebermudaltd.com/collections

  6. Jude says:

Hello a number of years ago my mother purchased a lovely pink dish with a starfish in the middle. It looks very much like a wedgwood piece. Would you know of a store selling this product? I believe she bought it at a hotel gift shop? Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely Jude Hanlon

    • John says:

Hi Jude, thanks for asking. I see our travel planner reached out to you to try and point you in the right direction. I don’t know if we could help you though. Although there are a number of groups on Facebook that may be able to help you. Look for active groups that are about Bermuda.
