You can sit down for afternoon high tea in Bermuda in a few great places. The British tradition of sitting down with tea, some light food, and your friends, carried over to Bermuda and it is easy to organize. Here are the best places below and if you would like to hear our opinion on planning a day, getting to any of these locations, or just general advice, send us a email and we’ll be happy to assist.
Heritage Court at the Hamilton Princess
The Heritage Court is inside the hotel to the back of the lobby with comfy chairs spread around the perimeter of the restaurant. You can look over at the koi garden just outside the windows or simply sit in any one of the plush chairs and people watch. The elegant tea is served daily between 2:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m. The hotel went through a $70 million dollar renovation starting in 2013, so you can see improvements throughout the hotel. You’ll be happy to hear that the afternoon tea will not be affected by the renovations. In the evening there is a piano player at the restaurant while every Friday there is a happy hour that has been popular for years. You’ll find yourself entertained for hours.
Sweet P’s High Tea at the Bermuda Perfumery
If you are looking for a high tea in Bermuda full of delicious sweets and pastries, Sweet P’s is the place to be. If the weather permits, the tea is set outside in a beautiful garden setting. This is a true gourmet tea experience set in a magically charming setting. Tea takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Since this afternoon tea is so popular, it is highly recommended that you call ahead of time to schedule. Contact Paula Hayward at 1-441-297 0453 or 1-441-705-2390 or email@example.com.
The Bermuda Perfumery was established in Bermuda in 1928 and then in 2004 they moved their location to the historic town of St. Georges. We would recommend you explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site before or after your tea. The area is full of history and you will really love getting lost in the small streets of St. Georges.
