Bermuda’s Jungle Expedition: A Children’s Adventure Tour

 

Immerse yourself in an adventurous journey through the jungle of Bermuda, accompanied by our guides, who will take you through the impressive stalactite caverns and where you can swim in a cave shrouded in darkness.

Following this underground escapade, you’ll embark on a hike to Blue Hole Hill, offering breathtaking views of a vast sinkhole. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping plunge from the overhanging cliffs, creating a memorable experience around the pool of water. This captivating tour promises an immersive day filled with excitement and natural wonders.

Main attractions of the excursion:

1. Cavern Descent:

    • Wear hardhats and descend into beautifully adorned stalactite caverns.
    • Swim inside a phenomenal cave, guided through its depths in darkness.

2. Blue Hole Hill Hike:

    • Hike to Blue Hole Hill for breathtaking views of a large sinkhole.
    • Take the plunge atop overhanging cliffs surrounding the pool of water.

Tour Logistics:

  • Operates May-September on Saturdays ONLY; private charter available.
  • Age Range: 5-12 years (each child must be accompanied by at least one adult).
  • Duration: 3 hours (10 a.m.-1 p.m.).
  • Cost: $50 per person (including adults); $750 for a private booking.

 

  • What is included:

      • Backpack per person with granola bar, fruit snacks, 1 water bottle, safety helmet, and umbrella.
      • Life vest provided if needed; bring child’s bicycle helmet for smaller heads.
      • Swimming is optional.

Equipment and Return Policy

All equipment and products are on loan for the duration of your tour. A $20 fee will be incurred if anything belonging to Thinking of Bermuda is not returned to the same condition in which it was received.

Pick-up/Drop-off:

  • Option for pick-up at Botanical Gardens bus stop (indicating during booking).
  • Otherwise, meet at Blue Hole Hill Parking Lot to begin the adventure.

 

Important Considerations:

  • Avoid wearing anything prone to staining on muddy terrain.
  • Consider physical fitness and medical history for tour suitability.
  • Individuals with specific health conditions advised not to participate.
  • Skechers Shape-ups not recommended for rugged terrain.
