Step 1 – Choose a mode of transportation
Vintage Car:
In the Branford Elite Vintage, you will be picked up (with space for 4 total), with a bottle of chilled, sparkling Prosecco poured by your chauffeur as you are greeted.
The vehicle is also able to be rented hourly for tours – for an afternoon touring around Bermuda, or for just a few hours before dinner. You may want to take into account time needed for photographs as well. Even if this is just a short one hour request, your chauffeur will be happy to stop at a place of your choice for photos, or you may want photographs at your departure and/or destination. The chauffeur in the Vintage Car along with their team have a continuing goal to have all their clients feel extra special. The car and occupants do turn heads everywhere they go, as it is a one of a kind in Bermuda.
Custom license plates can be created as a memento of your special occasion. Engraved crystal champagne flutes can also be priced and given as a memento.
The chauffeur will stop at local beauty spots for photographs or for the couple to enjoy the view and stretch their legs and anywhere else that you may wish to stop.
We can provide further details of a proposed drive around Bermuda and historical places to visit, or help in regards to any specific places you may wish to include or visit on your drive.
Horse & Carriage:
Head down the road in Bermuda in a beautiful horse & carriage. They are only available to do rides out of St. Georges only, but we can transport you to St. Georges with ease from anywhere on the island. A romantic ride may start and finish on Kings Square in Historical St. Georges and ventures along the coastline stopping for pictures and a walk on the beach to pick up sea glass. We have beautiful fortifications, beaches, and restaurants to choose from in the area as well. The sunsets are absolutely stunning.
Romance and horse drawn carriages go hand and hand and so we will be pleased to organize an evening that includes a horse & carriage ride.
Taxi:
Taxis are a great way to get around the island and by choosing a taxi, it will cut down the total costs for your date.
Step 2 – Choose a location
1) Restaurant
There are a number of incredible restaurants in Bermuda with amazing food and views. We will introduce you to our favorite restaurants when you work with us. If you were wondering where our favorite restaurants are though:
- The Point – Rosewood Tucker’s Point
- Four Ways Inn – in Warwick Parish
- Barracuda Grill – City of Hamilton
- Ascots – City of Hamilton
Alternatively, you can bring the restaurant to you in a number of unique locations around the island. Below you will find four places where we will bring our private chef to cook a delicious meal. Each meal is designed after your consultation with our chef where he prepares and designs a meal around your tastes.
2) Secluded Beach
We will take you and your partner to a secluded beach for a private dinner at one of the hotel’s beaches. Only one table is served per night and so you’ll be sure there aren’t any tables nearby. The hotel’s chef will prepare your meals seamlessly at the nearby resort where back on the beach you will be presented with a four-course meal of beautifully prepared food. The tables can be set a few feet into the water or right next to the shoreline, your decision. Tiki torches will be your lights and the sound of the ocean your music.
3) Luxury Yacht, Zola
Enjoy luxury and romance on-board your own private yacht charter. Looking into each other’s eyes may be difficult with your ever changing view of our stunning island. If you choose to have a date on a chartered yacht, you will be sure you made the right choice. Along with the captain, you will have other staff available to cater to every one of your needs.
Charters in the Day and the Night, for Hours or for Days
Charters are available for 2 hours or a number of days. Enjoy a day on the water with a BBQ on a secluded island or have dinner on the aft deck under the stars. The yacht is able to pick you up at many of the docks of hotels around the island as well.
4) Rent out the aquarium
Dine among the marine animals found below our ocean’s surface. You will have a private table set up at the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo next to their beautiful North Rock Exhibit. This exhibit contains 140,000-gallons of water and a vast variety of the fish that surround Bermuda’s island shores. This is where our chef will prepare a meal of your choice.
Step 3 – Speak to our chef
Your romantic meal will be customized to what you want. An initial consultation with our chef is arranged and here he will create a delicious meal with your guidance. There are no set menus, just great food. He will source the ingredients and cook an amazing meal in any of the locations above.
You are going to arrive at your pre-arranged destination to find your chef already preparing your first course with your pre-selected drinks waiting for you. This is all accomplished through our coordinated efforts.
Our Bermudian chef Ian will bring his 20 years of culinary experience and knowledge to the dinner table. Ian’s experience comes from training in the UK and some of Bermuda’s finest dining establishments. He is currently a private chef on the island.
